In the small clip that we watched the use of sound has presented sexuality with several factors. In the first scene we hear no sound or music in the background showing how simple and masculine the men are, by the end of the scene though there is a sound bridge connecting it into the gay bar scene. The music used for this scene is upbeat and electronic, the effect of using it is showing how much more fun and almost colorful the LGBT community is. The sudden transition from no sound into these tunes shows us how the producers want to portray how the two types are very different. In the bathroom scene the music goes quite but not completely mute to show how he is now more excepting go the community. When the attacker smashes him into the wall we hear the attacker violently scuffing into his ear with the overlapping sound of the man breathing intensely, this is extremely disturbing to the viewer and shows how when the man started to relax and began to become okay with the LGBT community he gets attacked and dominated by the more masculine man. After the disturbing scene the music goes up again and we can barely make out the dialogue showing that he's too serious and that in the LGBT community they're a lot more easy going.
